I've had my Snooz for almost 2 years now and it has been so wonderful!! I'm a super light sleeper and wake up so easily throughout the night. This has completely changed my quality of sleep. It's small but totally effective.. and portable so I have taken it on multiple vacations and even gotten great sleep in a hotel room (which is usually impossible!!) It is simple… one sound, with volumes 1-10, a super easy to use app so you can control it from your phone… I turn it on 3 or 4 while watching TV with my daughter and she falls asleep within 10 minutes every time. Then I go turn mine up to 10 and pass out 😴 In the mornings, I turn hers off while drinking coffee from my couch and she wakes right up and comes out to get ready for school. Definitely one of my best Amazon purchases!!! I'll definitely be buying more of these throughout years, but so far going strong almost 2 years later!!

My wife is bothered by tinnitus (ringing in the ears); This sound machine works perfectly to mask that bothersome ringing, as well as other environmental noises (jets; helicopters, trucks, etc.) and helps with sleep. It produces a wide range of natural sounds with an internal fan rather than an MP3-type device.
A bit pricey, but it's well made, attractive looking, and effective.

This was the first white noise fan I ever purchased. It works great because you can change the way the air flows to adjust both sound and volume and it also has volume settings (fan speeds) to make it louder or softer too. I need a loud fan so this one has been a lifesaver for me especially when traveling by replacing traditional, high power consumption fans that I used to sleep to. It has a maximum noise level of 64.2 dB at about 2 feet away compared to 2 other white noise fans I tested that came out to only around 53-55 dB from the same distance. This is based on the maximum noise setting and that can always be turned down if it's too much for you.

It uses a 110-240v converter so it can be used internationally when traveling which is HUGE. My only real complaint about this device is that it's a little fragile with the way the controls are made. After several years of use and some rough handling in my last leg of travel to get back home, the top (controls) popped off and the wire came off the pins which needs to be soldered. I didn't bother to figure out how to put it back together so I had to buy another one. It's not a cheap white noise fan but is a must due to the fact it's the loudest and most versatile. Buy the travel case when you purchase it if you intend to bring it anywhere so you can avoid any damage if you have to put it into a bag.

It has bluetooth functions which I don't particularly care for. I think that is what makes this white noise fan have the only real issue with it which is: Price. But it's worth every dollar, even if the functionality is probably not something you care about. BT does work but I keep it close to my head so it's always a quick reach over to kick it on or off and BT can be buggy sometimes. It's cool that you can connect it but definitely not of much practical use.

Power consumption of white noise fans is very low so I highly recommend them and this one especially if you need a loud fan OR need to travel internationally. This one is also VERY LIGHT as opposed to others so that's another major plus for travel purposes.

We bought this because the ratings were so GOOD & we just bought a 2nd one because the first one has been so good! It is the loudest and it has never quit working & we've had it for over 2 years. But, I always wanted to have two because I would hear neighbors and our dog outside or the alarm or my husband getting up, etc., so I bought another & together we have the most effective tool at giving us all uninterrupted sleep.

The second one drowns out ALL the environmental sounds & all the other sounds in the bedroom. For example, the alarm clock next to my husband wakes him up but I don't even hear it and if I am in bed and he gets up, I do not hear him. Same for him, he does not hear me coming and going, so it is wonderful.

You don't realize how much noises affect your sleep until the sounds that do affect you are eliminated. A couple of days ago someone across the street was hammering and we could not hear it, the next door neighbor who is about 22 feet from our window & the new snooz and despite the fact that they were doing something outside & that close, we did not hear it.
——–BUT CHECK THIS OUT, MY HUSBAND POINTED OUT THAT I DIDN'T EVEN HEAR OUR DOG BARKING OUTSIDE THE OPEN BEDROOM DOOR, YESTERDAY! DO You think You would hear your dog barking right outside the THE OPEN bedroom door ? That's how good having 2 works, with one on my side of the bed, just above my head, on it's own stand! I don't thnk any other white noise machine beats that!

We used to use the fan, then we got the snooz and it was not loud enough to drown out all noises for me. I am the one with the most difficulty sleeping, so I would still use the fan but the fan is not ideal all year around so I bought another one it has us ALL sleeping uninterrupted and that means we are all getting Much More Sleep.

It has been absolutely shocking to realize that when you thought you only needed a certain amount of sleep that suddenly you are getting MORE hours of sleep because of the effectiveness of this Snooz white noise machine! So, we are all delighted with a second one. Our dog no longer hears other dogs and wants to get up and go outside, so we are especially delighted that we have 2 and we realize that we are finally getting the best sleep of our lives because it completely drowns out inside and outside noises! I can't hear anyone snoring when I face in a different direction, so I frequently do not even know if everyone is in the bedroom or they have left, I have to ask, because our bedroom is very dark to help us sleep. YET, when we first go to bed we can easily talk to each other for a few minutes before we go to sleep so I also told someone that I believe these would be good to help drown out noises outside while allowing you to converse inside. We darkened our bedroom windows years ago with blackout curtains so we would sleep better.

We recommend you get 2 so that if you want to, you can drown out all other noises! Having 2 has been a game changer & we now recognize that we are sleeping like we've never been able to sleep so well before! That is absolutely astounding! It is such a game changer that we have all been rather shocked by it so we recommend you have one facing the bed and one up next to one side of the bed but not necessarily on the side table and we think you will be shocked by how much better you all sleep! Someone just asked why NOT have the Snooz next to your head. I do Not mean that you should NOT have it next to your head when you sleep, I just meant that I placed mine on a basket behind the 20-inch fan that we USED to use with the Snooz machine to block noises & it is nearer my feet or knees. The reason it is there is because my side table is too small to hold the snooz & other things I want to reach for during the night, like a drink, but now I realize that I am not drinking much during the night, likely because we are not using the fan & also because I am sleeping without waking. Think of that, we used a fan for years, then added the snooz, & still I sometimes used the fan, and NOW, without the fan, I don't need to drink water during the night & I am sleeping without waking! How about that! It is an AWESOME Game Changer! I used to think & told everyone I only needed to sleep 5 hours a night ! Everything has changed since we got TWO, so you really should get this, it has been a total game changer for me and for us! Sometimes I am tired & need a nap & I leave the bedroom door open and the TV & lights elsewhere can be on & because of the snooz, i can sleep soundly while life & TV goes on without me! I recommend you get TWO! Highest recommendation possible for this incredible white noise machine!!

I want to update my experience. I have a type of asthma, not actually asthma, but from long standing sinusitis and since we have quit using the 20-inch fan for noise during sleep, and because we now have 2 of these snooz machines, I noticed I do NOT have to use my inhalers as much during a 24-hour day. I think the 20 inch fan made me need my asthma inhalers more, just like I needed to drink more during sleep! I am still awake between 17 and 21 hours a day, but now I sleep at least an average of 7 hours of sleep after I am able to go to bed and go to sleep. I remember once we had some sort of viral respiratory infection and we could not stand having the fan circulate the air because it was making our throats really hurt, so that made me realize that the fan was actually causing air to go into our mouths, but I never had any idea that it could be affecting my breathing and causing me to need my inhalers more. So, the use of 2 of these fabulous SNOOZ machines has actually changed our lives for the better in ways I had not anticipated!

I have another update: We removed the fan and we put the snooz Just up slightly above my head, almost next to my head, on it's own stand and it is perfect at blocking out sounds and allowing me to sleep, so having it almost right next to your head with the sound on HIGH, works Very WELL!

I hope you experience superior sleep when you get the snooz and that will change your lives for the better, too! i think you will realize that using these gives you the sleep scientists say we must have for our very best health!

I have used this for a year. Because there's actually a small fan in it (that doesn't blow anything around), it sounds just like my large air purifier. Unlike a fan or an air purifier though, this can be adjusted for volume and the timbre of the sound you want. It's very pleasant. Also, it's design is attractive enough that you wouldn't mind leaving it out on your dresser or a table, and small enough that you sorta forget it's there. This one ticks all the boxes for me.
