Low rating for Amazon, not product

Low rating for Amazon, not product
The product itself worked well. Not sure if it is THE best headphones of its type, given a lack of brand comparison, but from experience the volume is a little soft. The headphones themselves came new and undamaged.HOWEVER, the condition of the packaging material it arrived in was abysmal. Abhorrent. Terrible. It showed a considerable lack of attention to detail, given how the product could have simply dropped through the bottom of the box, were it not for the adhesive bag holding everything closed. From a corporation that prides itself on catering to its customers, this is one hell of an oversight.

Bought these so I could hear my Audio Video Receiver without room acoustics dominating the sound. Wanted to see if I was actually getting stereo. Headphones made it very clear… No stereo. Dialog is much more intelligible with the headphones.

I bought these mainly to use when working on my desktop, playing a few games, or watching videos on my desktop. I also recently started to get into music production and thought I would get a new set of headphones. I was a little displeased to find out that these sound a bit muffled or lower in volume compared to my last pair of Sennheiser headphones. Now these headphones where not your $200 headphones. I received them free when I made a purchase of something else so they may have been a comparable value to these of $15-$30. The headphones over all are comfortable but after extended usage you begin to feel a slight pressure on your ears. I did end up deciding to return and got a pair of Mackie headphones which had much better sound quality.

This review is for the Philips headphones 2000 series no microphone no volume control black over ear corded headphones.
    baught at $20 on july 23rd 2023

This review is written a week after buying, as I am returning them I can't comment on its long-term durability.

    the fit:
I have relatively normal sized ears, and these fit around my entire ear without placing any pressure onto them, they also fit snugly and are comfortable. Although it has 90° swivel its single axis vertical, this means it cannot cater to better fit your ears as with 2 axis rotation.

    material:
These headphones are a majority plastic, and feel relatively cheap. They have a hard foam top that pulls on my hair while wearing.

    Sound quality:
Parroting other reviews, I agree these headphones are quiet, except the bass which is much stronger. And when using an equalizer to turn down the bass volume I can tell that the problem is not with the Bass being to loud, the problem is that the speakers have genuinely awful quality when it comes to medium to high range frequencies. Any song that has little enough bass to not be drowned out sounds like I'm listening to the song through a walkie-talkie speaker.

They have very little noise canceling, although not advertised to have it, and can cut out a fan but not much else

Overall for its current price, i do not recomend these headphones. If these were like $6 then I'd say they're a good deal.

This review is for the PHILIPS Over Ear Wired Stereo Headphones (the silver ones).

These are good headphones. It has decent sound. I found this model to work great with my computer setup. I have it connected to a small mixer so I can share the headphones with other non-wireless devices.

When the headphones are new the plastic arch feels stiff, but in time the headphones adjust to your head size. The cable length is super long but the signal never deteriorates as to stop functioning. The adjustable volume is handy and I use it often.

What I like best about these headphones is the soft foam material for the headphone pads. It feels very comfortable on the ears and also it is easy to remove for cleaning.

In my opinion I think it is a good wired option and for my purposes it works fine.

Purchased these for my kids to use on the digital piano so they can play as loud as they want and not annoying the rest of the family. The sound is clear, maybe not as rich as the speaker on the digital piano but for the price range, I'm happy with the sound quality. They are very comfortable to wear and adjustable even for the smallest of kids. I tried it on my 2 year old and it fits well.
