Good quality build. Decent speakers. Adequate amount of ports. Nice keyboard. Mouse is a little sensitive, but works fine. Works well for my simple needs, i.e., writing, web-surfing, remoting into work, Youtube, etc.
My only complaint is that the company made it impossible to upgrade anything. My last laptop was a cheap Acer, which I was able to add value to by opening it up and inserting a 1 TB SATA drive and by doubling the RAM. Nimo will not let you do that for whatever reason. After corresponding with their IT dept they informed me that you cannot add memory or increase the RAM. I learned the latter face only AFTER I opened up the laptop. There is only one RAM slot, not two, but even if you bought a single stick of RAM with a higher value, the laptop wouldn't accept it. It was pretty frustrating to learn this, but it's a budget laptop, so I can't be too hard on them.
I like the laptop regardless and would consider buying a more advanced Nimo model in the future, but I would definitely make sure the features can be modified or that everything was high-end (2 TB memory, 32 GB RAM) out of the box. Hoping the upgrading problem is confined to the student laptop only.
