Measure the length and width of the area you wish to install the Flueblocker. Buy a Flueblocker that is a little larger than your opening, because it stays in place by a pressure fit. You can trim down the wool pad of the Flueblocker with a sharp pair of scissors if needed.

Square Flueblocker Installed

The Flueblocker is pressed into place with the provide 12″ long handle. You can purchase additional 6″ long handle extenders to add to the handle length for higher installs.

Get The Length You Need to Reach Your Install Location!

Each Flueblocker comes with a 6″ long handle with a loop on the end and a 6″ handle extender to easily add reach from 6″ to 12″.

Additional 6″ Handle extenders can be purchased separately if your install location requires a handle longer than 12″.

The 16″x16″ Chimney Flueblocker (Actual product dimensions are 17.5″x17.5″) pressure fits into your 13â – 17â flue tile stopping drafts, odors and debris from coming into your home through the fireplace.It can be trimmed with scissors to accommodate sizing and hardware.
IMPORTANT – The Flueblocker CANNOT BE USED with an ACTIVE VENTED GAS LOG set. For safety, a VENTED GAS LOG would need to be DISABLED or REMOVED in order to use the Flueblocker.
